The Role in General

Full-Time / Part-Time with full time passion / Contractors 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience: inside sales, sales enablement, sales strategy, process creation and CRM management.  

  • 3 years of experience defining, creating and improving on metrics for inside sales execution e.g. Win Ratio/Rate and Campaign Success/Loss Rate    

  • Experience influencing and working collaboratively across cross-functional teams, building relationships internally and externally.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Hubspot

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

  • Excellent phone and cold calling skills.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Strong listening and proven sales skills.

  • Ability to achieve targets and assist with closing. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated executive presence, with the ability to communicate effectively to inspire across all levels of the organization and experience influencing senior leaders and customers. 

  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities, weighting impact, priority and value.

  • Excellent business sense, problem solving, project management and analytical skills.

  • Provide sales & marketing support to Xailient leadership and fields sales by prospecting, ensuring cross functional alignment of goals to execution, and assist teams to drive sales and new initiatives forward.

The Inside Sales Leader's main objective is to prospect customers through a number of channels as an example: CRM Mining, Conference Prep/Post Action Report, Campaigns, LinkedIn Campaigns, Maximizing LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Reviewing Lead Generation 3rd Party Bids, etc.

The Inside Sales Leader will build and deliver narratives, customer presentations and use tools that promote customer-centric selling into practice. Inside sales is a client-focused role ensuring that the sales org has the competencies to drive results for our customers, while driving a sales culture of growth and improvement. 

The Inside Sales Leader is responsible for communicating with potential customers through inbound leads follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails, converting them from cold to warm leads, then routing them to the VP of Market Development. Inside Sales Leader develops relationships and communicates with customers to gain genuine interest in our product. This sales position requires the Inside Sales Leader to work across many industries and verticals. 

A successful outcome and net result is to increase the sales success rates, improving the win ratio/rate. To increase the volume of prospects, converting them to warm leads or sales.

This job may work from anywhere, and there is no “office”. Customers are global, mostly North America and Pacific rim Asia. The team is distributed geographically, and there is considerable autonomy and flexibility. Our work hours overlap in the US Pacific Timezone afternoon to early evening.


Inside Sales Skills: 

Communication: Both strong listening and verbal skills are crucial. To listen for common objections and utilize sales experience and background to overcome them. Listening and documenting pain points, use cases, requirements, timeline, key players and next steps are critical. 

Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work with extended team and senior leadership in a team environment. To interface with operations, marketing and other sales team members to exceed sales goals. 

Independent: To reach out to leadership, engineering and operations to answer customer questions both business and technical. Can work unsupervised to hit the agreed upon quota of leads and conversions.  

Persuasion: Demonstrates the ability to use persuasion skills to convert or close deals. To build relationships, develop trust and learn when to persuade.

Revenue Generation: Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining customers, comfortable being measured on results, personal quotas and team quotas. 

Competitor Understanding: Assesses competitors by analyzing, summarizing competitor information and trends, identifying sales opportunities and responses to sales objections.
