Marketing Associate

The Marketing Associate connects Xailient with innovators and solutions providers that benefit from faster and cheaper Computer Vision.  Using every channel available, the Marketing Associate will engage a technical audience to build a community of advocates and influencers, and ultimately a Developer Network.


This is a junior position, open to marketers with ambitions of a career in technical marketing, or developer marketing.  Applicants should highlight their strengths and come prepared to discuss their career goals. This is a generalist role with responsibility across all aspects of marketing.



  • Work closely with the CEO to coordinate a marketing and sales strategy

  • Connect with key communities through outreach online and offline

  • Develop marketing content and communications based on technical materials

  • Collaborate with technical staff to identify meaningful topics for scientific analysis

  • Attend events (some after-business hours) to evangelize the Xailient brand and product

  • For more senior hires, give keynotes or speak at third-party events and engage with regional governments, universities and business/startup groups

  • Own the MarTech stack

  • Own the Xailient website

  • Own Xailient social media accounts

  • Manage execution of campaigns

  • Maintain analytics, use and provide continuous feedback

  • Advocate for partners internally



  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are required

  • Comfort networking, speaking in public, and working a room are required

  • Comfort discussing technical topics

  • Must have one or more demonstrated marketing “spikes” - a proven expertise or skill

  • Should have experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Should have experience with marketing automation

  • Technical background in a professional software organization a plus

  • Experience with Growth Marketing for B2B a plus

  • Experience with Developer Programs a plus

  • Experience with Agency Programs a plus

  • Experience with Hubspot a plus

  • History of successful Growth Hacking a big plus

  • Passion for technology a must
